CONDUCTING TIRE REPAIRS
Although tire patch kits are available at any auto parts store, the further investigation and inspection of the vehicle make it a good idea to let a professional conduct the repair as they know what to look for. Using a patch kit isn't as easy as it might seem and someone who doesn't do it regularly might take several tries before it works. Worse yet, they might have the tire seemingly repaired but because it isn't properly fixed the tire will fail again on the next drive. At that point, the damage may have become exaggerated beyond repair, requiring a full tire replacement. Conducting unprofessional repairs never saves money in the long run.
