Livonia Goodfellows

What Does Livonia Goodfellows Do?

Livonia Goodfellows is one of many Goodfellows clubs across the country. The first Goodfellows club began in 1911 and the idea has spread throughout the U.S. and Canada. This organization is dedicated to raising funding and providing food and gifts for families during the holidays.

In the past, the Livonia Goodfellows have managed to raise over $100,000 in donations, which has led to them helping around 250 families in the area. That comes to around 600 to 700 children who have been provided with toys, clothing, and food.

How Can I Help Livonia Goodfellows?

If you’d like to help people in your community, a great way to do that is to lend a hand to this organization. One of the best ways to help out is to provide monetary donations; there are often donation requests mailed out around the holidays. Another way you can help out is by bringing food to canned food drives that are often held in schools.

Volunteers are often needed from September to December, so if you’d like to help out with your time there are plenty of ways you can be a part of this organization. This group is always looking for people who can perform duties such as:
