Your Guide To Scheduled Maintenance

Why should you take your vehicle in for routine maintenance if it is running perfectly fine? Prevention is the key to keeping your Bolt in spectacular shape. Seemingly minor maintenance like tire rotations can help preserve your car’s longevity.

Also, whenever you bring your car in for scheduled maintenance, our service technicians are always keeping an eye out for ways to keep your vehicle in excellent condition. We will diagnose and solve any potential problems early on, so your Bolt will zoom along the roadways for years to come.

7,500 Miles

Service Tech Holding WrenchThe first mileage interval recommended that you bring your vehicle in for service is the 7,500-mile mark. At this point, technicians will check and rotate the tires and perform any needed required services. These services include:

  • Wheel alignment
  • Brake examination
  • Heater and radiator hose inspection
  • Windshield examination
  • Wiper blade maintenance
  • Fluids checked and filled as needed

As an electric vehicle, checking the battery is also of the utmost importance since that’s the power source of the car. It will be inspected during a multi-point vehicle inspection that examines critical systems to make sure they’re in great shape.

15,000 Miles

At 15,000 miles, this process is just like the 7,500-mile maintenance. Rotating tires and diagnosing other critical repairs will ensure your Bolt will hit the road with reliability and durability!

Service Tech Updating Car Software22,500 Miles

This maintenance checkup will provide the same services as the previous two appointments. This time, though, the passenger compartment air filter will be replaced. As a guideline, the compartment air filter gets replaced either every 22,500 miles or every 2 years, whichever comes first.

150,000 Miles

Your maintenance schedule continues on the pattern established in the beginning until you hit 150,000 miles. At this point, the tires will need to be rotated as usual, and any required maintenance will be performed. Additionally, a service technician will drain and fill vehicle coolant circuits. This will ensure your Bolt’s critical systems are nice and cool, allowing them to do their jobs and keep you moving on the road!
