The Blazer comes with two different engine offerings. Each offers different outputs in terms of both muscle and fuel efficiency. The first engine option you have is a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that will pump out 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission which allows the SUV to earn an impressive EPA-estimated 22 city/29 highway MPG.

The other engine option you have available to you in the Blazer lineup is a 3.6L V6 engine. This engine will increase your outputs to 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
