Step One: Find a New Ride

When you’re looking to make a trade-in, and maneuver behind the wheel of a new ride, you will, of course, need to identify the new car that you want to take home. Fortunately, we make finding the perfect vehicle easy.

Head online to our inventory page where you’ll find our diverse selection of vehicles. Whether you need something large and powerful or would prefer something smaller and more economical, we’re sure to have a fitting vehicle option for you.

Step Two: Prepare Old Vehicle for Trade-in

Having set your sights on a new ride, you’ll be just about ready to move forward with the trade-in process. First, though, you’ll want to prepare your old car for trade-in. That way you can maximize the return you receive.

Some easy ways to prepare your vehicle for trade-in include:

• Cleaning and detailing it
• Catching it up on service
• Providing body work where necessary
• Making sure documentation for services performed in the past are collected

Step Three: Bring Vehicle In

Next, you’ll be ready to bring your vehicle in to trade it. Here, we’ll take the vehicle back into our shop and conduct an inspection, making sure everything is in working order. Additionally, we’ll conduct some research at this time, looking into the value of the ride.

Step Four: Offer

Having learned more about your vehicle, we’ll be able to present you with an offer. You can accept, decline, or even think about it a bit, checking out our CARFAX® Trade-in Calculator to confirm our offer is fair.

Step Five: Offer Acceptance

If you would like to accept our offer at any point, we’ll just need to look at:

• Your license
• Vehicle registration
• Vehicle title

Taking a look at these documents will allow us to confirm that you own the vehicle, and move toward completing the transaction.

Step Six: Deal Details and Signatures

Moving toward deal completion, our finance team will go over different details and deal points with you, making sure everything is in order.

From there, all you’ll have to do is make a few signatures and your trade-in will be complete!
